How does the Scooter Finder pick my matches?
It scores every scooter in our Australian catalogue against your answers: price against your budget, whether the scooter fits the legal class in your state, how well it suits your main use, its real world range against your daily distance, and its weight against how often you carry it. The highest scores are your matches.
Why are some fast scooters missing from my results?
Scooters that can go faster than 25 km/h and cannot be locked to 25 km/h are outside the legal class in every Australian state, so they cannot be ridden on public roads or paths. We only include them when you choose off road and private property riding.
Is real world range the same as the advertised range?
No. Advertised range is measured in ideal conditions. We use a realistic figure for everyday riding, which is usually around 70 percent of the claim, so your matches cover your trips with some buffer.
Can I share my results?
Yes. Your answers are saved in the page address, so you can copy the link and send it to someone, or bookmark it and come back later.
