Inmotion Air Pro: questions buyers ask
Is the Inmotion Air Pro legal in Australia?
It fits the 25 km/h legal class because it can be limited to 25 km/h (its unlocked top speed is 35 km/h). It can be ridden in public within each state's rules in Victoria, Queensland, South Australia, Western Australia, Tasmania and the ACT. NSW and the NT do not allow private e-scooters in public, so there it is private property only. No e-scooter is road legal everywhere, so check the speed caps, paths and age rules for your state.
Can I ride the Inmotion Air Pro in Queensland?
Yes, if it is kept limited to 25 km/h. From 28 February 2027 Queensland requires e-scooters to be unable to exceed 25 km/h by motor power, so make sure the limit is locked, not just a riding mode you can switch. Riders must be 16 or older and hold a driver licence (learner or higher), and the cap is 12 km/h on footpaths and 25 km/h elsewhere.
Can I ride the Inmotion Air Pro in NSW?
Privately owned e-scooters cannot be ridden in public. Only shared hire e-scooters are allowed, and only in approved trial areas. Draft rules to legalise private e-scooters were released in 2024 but no start date has been set. A private e-scooter is legal on private property only.
How far does the Inmotion Air Pro really go?
The claimed range is 48 km, measured by the maker in ideal conditions. ScootFinder estimates about 34 km for mixed everyday riding. That is an estimate, not a test result. Hills, rider weight, cold weather and riding at top speed all cut range, so plan with some battery in reserve.
How much does the Inmotion Air Pro weigh?
It weighs 17.7 kg. The maximum rider weight is 120 kg. It folds for carrying and storage.
How much is the Inmotion Air Pro in Australia?
When we last checked on 4 October 2026, the lowest price we found was $1,299 at Scooter Hut. It was sold out there at the time. We list 2 Australian sellers on this page. Prices change, so check the seller before buying.
Is the Inmotion Air Pro waterproof?
It has an IP55 rating, which means it resists low pressure water jets, such as steady rain and road spray. No e-scooter is truly waterproof, so avoid deep puddles and do not wash it with a hose.
Is the Inmotion Air Pro popular in Australia?
Yes. It is number 10 in our list of the most popular e-scooters in Australia for October 2026. In Scooter Hut's best seller list, and sold out at both Scooter Hut and Electric Kicks when checked.
